古くからのサーフィン仲間で、プロデューサーの青木くんと制作してきたUrushi Alaia Projectのフィルム「Beyond Tradition」が、「Florida surf film festival 2019」において「Best Documentary Short 2019」を獲得することができました。
このフィルムは、自然とサーフィンをリスクペトしながら自然素材でサーフボードを制作した、漆アライアのプロジェクトを追ったドキュメンタリー映像です。
美しい地球環境や持続可能な社会を次世代に引き継いでいくことを大切にする、多くの日豪米サーファーの思いや情熱がこめられています。
完成までにはTom Wegener氏をはじめたくさんの方の協力がありました。
本当にありがとうございます！
これからも漆アライアとともに世界中にメッセージを届ける旅を続けていきたいです。
フィルムを作り始めてあっという間に2年半が経ちました。
これから、プロジェクトの経緯やお世話になった人々のことを少しずつ紹介していきたいと思います。

This documentary film talks about the urushi Alaia Project, the project of a symbolic surfboard production with natural material with appreciation and respect to nature and surfing. Surfing enthusiasts from Japan, Australia and America have worked together with a wish and a passion to pass our beautiful planet, sustainable environment and responsible society on to the next generation.
We owe enormous thanks to Tom Wegener, and many other guys involved.
We would like to continue our journey to spread our messages to the world with Urushi Alaia.
Little by little, we would like to start introducing our team and background stories of the project that has taken over two years and half since it started.
